Introducing "The Next Page"

For those of you who have are unfamiliar with the film, here is a brief introduction.

We started writing "The Next Page" back in late 2012 when our father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He survived the battle and shortly thereafter we endured other difficult medical situations throughout our family. We had two other members diagnosed with cancer and our grandmother had to endure a battle with a rare illness that made her unable to walk. She is still battling through it to this day and it was her battle and strength and proved to be a major inspiration for this film.

"The Next Page" tells the story of 9-year-old Brian and his father Alex. Brian was abandoned by his mother at a young age and has struggled with that lack of wholeness in his life. When he is diagnosed with leukemia for a second time, his life completely changes and his relationship with his father is forever altered in a manner that neither could have anticipated.

The aim of the film is not only to show the difficulties of dealing with illness and death, but also celebrating the courage that people in this circumstance must muster up. Brian is changed and changes everyone around him throughout the story and it is one that we hope you will share with us!
