Who are We Wednesday #6: Introducing Art Director Kory Diskin!

We were absent last week but we are back to introduce Kory Diskin, the art director for "The Next Page." 

Here is a brief bio for Kory that highlights some of her major work: 

"Kory Diskin gained an unparalleled understanding of the creative, production and postproduction processes throughout her multi-faceted career. She describes her present role in the industry as, ’if it’s creative, count me in.’ Currently, indie filmmakers are counting her in as production designer. Recent film titles include, My Cross to Bear (Peter Bongiorno, Director/Glenn Allen, Executive Producer); Sebastien (Deborah Twiss, Director); Tammy (Ante Novakovic, Director); The Confidence Game; and Trust Me, I’m a Lifeguard, (Tony Glazer, Director); The Last Taxi Driver (Debra Markowitz, Director).

 

Kory is an appointed member of the Nassau County Film Advisory Board.  In addition, she serves as an advisor to the Long Island Film/TV Foundation, and serves on the Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) film selection and jury committees."

Kory has collaborated on a number of projects with our casting director Donna McKenna and the two are also very close friends.

How did we meet Kory?

We met Kory during the Long Island International Film Expo a few years ago. We recently reconnected with her while seeking out locations for "The Next Page."
